Casale Valverde is a restored country house surrounded by centuries-old olive trees, just outside Alghero.

It is not a resort. It is a peaceful, light-filled home in the countryside, a place to slow down, breathe, and feel at ease. Here you wake up in silence, have breakfast outdoors, and watch the sun set over the sea and the promontory of Capo Caccia.

We are for those who enjoy being slightly away from the summer crowds, while still reaching beaches, restaurants and the historic centre in just a few minutes.

We are located in the countryside, just 1.5 km from the historic centre of Alghero.

You can reach the old town in minutes: walk along the sea walls, explore small streets, enjoy restaurants and local shops. Beautiful beaches such as Maria Pia, Le Bombarde, Lazzaretto and Mugoni are all within easy reach, as well as the natural area of Porto Conte. You enjoy the sea, nature and the town during the day, and return to quiet evenings under the stars.

BREAKFAST

There is no buffet at Casale Valverde. With only a few rooms, we prepare breakfast by hand every morning, with care and attention, rather than offering a large standardised selection.

Our breakfast is vegetarian, fresh and different every day. There is always something sweet and something savoury: homemade cakes, focaccia, yoghurt, seasonal fruit, Sardinian cheeses, local honey and jams, fresh bread and small seasonal surprises.

If you trust us and allow yourself to be surprised, you will not be disappointed. If you are looking for the same breakfast you have every morning at home (or the international buffet of a large hotel) we may not be the right place, and that is perfectly fine.

Here, breakfast is slow, personal and prepared just for you.

things to know

We recommend arriving by car, or motorbike, as we are in the countryside. Private parking is available on the property.

To reach some first-floor rooms, you walk a short path through the olive grove. We recommend comfortable shoes, high heels can wait in your bag until dinner in town.

Casale Valverde is an adults-only property and we are not able to accommodate children. The house and garden are designed for a quiet, relaxed stay and include open natural areas that are not specifically adapted for younger guests. We truly appreciate your understanding and will be happy to recommend family-friendly accommodations in the area.

We love animals, but we do not accommodate pets at Casale Valverde. The house is surrounded by open countryside and wildlife, and we also want to ensure a comfortable stay for guests who may have allergies. Thank you for your understanding.

You will NOT find a television in the rooms. Instead, there is sunset light, silence, and a sky full of stars.

Casale Valverde is surrounded by real countryside. That means fresh air, Mediterranean plants… and occasionally a curious little spider or ladybug visiting. It is nature saying hello, not a cleaning issue.
